This is the first time we add a none hemp or CBD product to our range. Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of Crocus sativus, commonly known as the “saffron crocus.”
The domesticated saffron crocus, Crocus sativus, is an autumn-flowering perennial plant unknown in the wild. It probably descends from the eastern Mediterranean autumn-flowering Crocus cartwrightianus, which is also known as “wild saffron” and originated in Crete or mainland Greece. An origin in Southwest Asia, although often suspected, has been disapproved by agricultural research.
Its recorded history is attested in a 7th-century BC Assyrian botanical treatise compiled under Ashurbanipa. The ancient Greeks and Romans used saffron as perfume, and saffron is mentioned in the Chinese materia medica from the 1550s.
Eden Aromata saffron comes from Khorasan province, the world capital of saffron, due to the long experience with its cultivation, and the transfer of methods of growing and harvesting from generation to generation. Saffron is not under sanctions imposed by the US, and we are still able to provide it.

Other than a usage as an aromatic spice, one can also use it to make Tea.
Saffron tea can be prepared plain, by steeping the threads in hot water. But the spice can have a strong and bitter taste. For this reason, many recipes feature the herb paired a variety of different ways. You can mix it in with tea leaves, or add other herbs and spices.

UK Shipping Details
Monday to Thursday: We typically ship orders placed before 1:30 PM via DPD to most UK locations, except some areas in Scotland and Northern Ireland, where DPD may be slower or more expensive. In such cases, we use Royal Mail.
Friday Orders: We ship all orders via Royal Mail to enable potential weekend delivery.
Saturday Orders: Orders placed before 10:00 AM are sent via Royal Mail, with the possibility of Sunday delivery for select UK locations.

Return Guidelines
Returns Window: You may return items within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
How to Initiate a Return: Please contact us via email or our customer service form before returning any item. We will provide the necessary instructions to ensure a smooth return process. Please note that if the products you purchased are in good condition and as advertised, you must send them for contamination testing if you return them. The testing charge is £15.00, plus an additional 25% handling charge for handling and refund processing. Returned products purchased by mistake may also incur a handling charge when we issue a refund.
Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5-7 working days.
Non-Returnable Items:
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on used or opened CBD products unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
