Eden Aromata's line of Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract topicals are specially formulated to provide localised relief and help your body recover from whatever may be hurting it. A non-hazardous extraction process is used resulting in a chemical-free aromatic balm that has negligible THC levels, whilst providing a high entourage full-spectrum product.

@EdenAromata we have created a soothing, relaxing balm/slave that works perfectly for light or deep rub. As soon as you start rubbing it into the skin, you will feel its transformation from a solid balm into a liquid style salve as the products temperature increases to match the bodies. This transformation allows the balm/salve to be absorbed more quickly for more effective relief.

NEW SUPER STRENGTH FULL SPECTRUM CBD BALM/SALVE BY EDEN AROMATA

What is CBD Balm or Salve?

Typically balms and salves are a safe and easy-to-use topical product that can be applied to almost any part of the body to relieve several problems associated with the hemp extract ointments, like soreness, inflammation, and irritated skin. When applied to the skin, it does not create the "high" effects that cannabis ingestion does via smoking, vaporising, or eating edibles.  These products are a great alternative for people who do not want cannabis' THC high and/or for those who would like an alternative to over-the-counter steroid-based creams.

It is scientifically proven that cannabidiol (CBD) contains anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties and is known to be a potent and robust antioxidant. Historically, these properties are associated with aiding reduction in painenhances circulation in a wide variety of conditions. The products can assist the healing of the skin and penetrate deeper, reaching areas that cause pain or other conditions caused by inflammation. CBD balms can also help to make your skin's natural defences stronger enabling it to regenerate, relieve and possibly eliminate many kinds of skin problems and conditions. The list is rather long, but here are a few of the most commonly treated:

      More about the ingredients:

      YELLOW BEESWAX

Yellow beeswax is obtained by melting the walls of the honeycomb made by the honey-bee, Apis mellifera L., with hot water and removing the foreign matter.

Components: Paraffin, Glyceryl palmitate and-stearate, Beeswax and Stearic acid

Uses: Naturally, yellow beeswax beads can be used to improve balm colour and help lengthen the liquid state. The hardness of beeswax makes it unsuitable for direct use as an ointment base.

      ESSENTIAL OIL

Popular aromatherapy essential oils used in the product include: Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass. All our oils are 100% pure and natural offering a huge variety of applications and benefits.

Pure lavender oil is one of the gentlest, but also one of the most powerful essential oils. It is widely known for its calming and relaxing properties.

Eucalyptus essential oil can help promote feelings of relaxation and clear breathing.

Lemongrass provides a pungent, smoky aroma, and offers purifying and toning benefits for the skin.

      TEA TREE

Tea tree essential oil has been used for centuries by cultures around the world to soothe. It is commonly used for skin care products and therapeutic uses. It is used for bites, stings, skin problems, foot care, burns, respiratory ailments, colds, and flu. The strong aroma helps to lift the balm to another level. Tea tree essential oil has a fresh, antiseptic, and medicinal scent. It also has characteristic mint and spice back-notes.

      GINGER

Ginger is a perennial herb and grows to about 3 - 4 feet high (approximately 1 meter). The extraction method was using steam distillation.

      ROSEMARY

Eden Aromata's balm uses rosemary that has been extracted through steam distillation of the flowering tops of the herb. Native to the Mediterranean, the main countries which produce this fresh oil are Tunisia, Spain and France. The plant belongs to the mint family which includes other herbs such as basil, sage, lavender, and myrtle. Well known for its culinary use, this evergreen shrub produces a woody, refreshing herbaceous oil when steam distilled.

      Rosemary

Rosemary oil is popular in aromatherapy. It has an uplifting, rich and warm aroma that will leave you feeling invigorated and revitalised. Many use this oil to help concentration whilst studying bringing clarity to the mind.

      BIOMATRIX LIQUORICE ROOT:

It is claimed that the plant can support the body's stress response, boost energy levels and helps to reduce feelings of nervousness and poor mood. When met with the stress of any kind, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis becomes burdened by the overwhelming need to produce the stress hormone cortisol. This affects metabolism, immunity, reproductive health, energy levels, and mood. BioMatrix liquorice root extract supports cortisol levels and reduces these symptoms to restore your overall wellbeing.

        Support

When chronic stress occurs, the adrenal glands are met with an increased demand for cortisol. Research shows that one of the active compounds found in liquorice root extract known as glycyrrhetinic acid helps the body regulate cortisol more efficiently to take some of the burden off the adrenal glands, relieving adrenal fatigue, better known as HPA dysfunction.

Liquorice root extract has an oestrogen-like effect in women. One study found that liquorice root was more effective than conventional hormone replacement therapy for reducing the duration of hot flushes in women with menopause.

        HOW TO APPLY CBD OINTMENTS

Topical CBD absorbs into the skin when evenly applied and massaged into the skin. When using topicals, be sure to first wash the area with soap and water to remove any excess dirt, oil build-up, or previously applied topicals.

Rub the ointment onto the affected area and allow it to absorb for several minutes.

Once applied, the ointment can take its time to provide relief, depending on the dosage, how often it's used, and the severity of your condition. It is advised that the repetition of the process should be reflective of the severity of one's medical condition. As always if in doubt then do consult your doctors.

         HOW TO APPLY CBD OINTMENTS

One can also apply a CBD serum beforehand for increased bioavailability. Doing so will ensure that there are no barriers between the ointment and your skin, creating the right environment for the slow absorption into the skin to reach the parts that need it.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CANNABIS OINTMENTS, CREAMS, SALVES, BALMS, OILS, LOTIONS & PATCHES?

Throughout Europe, there is a variety of accepted levels for CBD products within the medical community. Germany is very much in favour of medical doctors advising their use to their patients, while other countries have a mixed feeling about their use. One school of thought is that this is just the placebo effect, and others are open-minded and allow usage as a supplement so long it does not conflict with any formal prescription medicine. The hard-core users have already tried the products and are convinced of the benefits to their condition since they must purchase them privately, and they are not handed out free by the National Health System.

Full-spectrum oils or water-based serums tend to be higher in potency as they contain all the cannabinoids in the product, including a small quantity of legal THC <0.2%. Many advise that the mixed-use of oils are also more versatile because they can be ingested together with balm or salve for topical use on the affected area. It is no secret with crowdsourced data that high doses of cannabis oil have been used to effectively treat many medical conditions. Differences between Balm and Salve

        Differences Between Balm and Salve

It is generally accepted that "balms sit on top of the skin while salves absorb into the skin".

Salves generally seem to be softer than balms and are applied with the fingertip. Yet, they are firmer than an ointment or lotion because they usually have a higher concentration of beeswax. However, in the case of Eden Aromata's Balm, due to the careful balance in standard room temperature of 16-20 degrees, it starts as a balm, however, once applied onto the skin it transforms to a salve as the product temperature reaches the body temperature, aiding absorption into the skin.

Why CBD Isolates Are Not as Effective

When the CBD has been isolated from other compounds found in hemp it has to be processed excessively, and during the process, all the other useful cannabinoids have been-taken out of the product. In the past, a lot of CBD products and studies only focused on the CBD isolate.

But, as we started creating the Eden Aromata brand, the research we explored heavily indicated that when CBD is isolated, you need to ingest a much higher quantity to get an effective result. Simply put, it is just not as powerful alone.

So, we turned to nature and looked closely at what we saw occurring. Some of the cannabinoids have been found and researched, and many are still to be discovered with scientific methods. Hemp is complete with a complex profile of cannabinoids, terpenes and other beneficial compounds that can provide a much better match for the human body than a single isolate dose alone. By leaving hemp's complete profile intact, our CBD oil requires less processing and hence is more natural.

This synergistic effect of hemp's entire profile is often referred to as "the entourage effect" which we try hard to replicate in all the products we develop.

CBD provides powerful benefits working alongside other cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, THC and THCa, as well as a wide array of terpenes including bisabolene, farnesene and guaiol.

Balms and salves can also benefit from the way nature intended these compounds work together; they can help provide much stronger relief than CBD from isolates only products. The CBD and the other beneficial compounds in hemp target the endocannabinoid system, which plays an essential role in the wellbeing of the human body. The endocannabinoid system helps maintain several integral functions, including mental health and wellness, appetite, nutrient transport, energy storage, immune function and the regulation of stress and pain perception.
