Traditionally, the official use of the flowers is as tea mixed with a little milk and coconut oil brewed. However, users also do vape the herbs for alternative accelerated bioavailability in countries that allow this type of consumption. Historically, Cannatonic is a unique hybrid strain bred by Spanish seed bank Resin Seeds specifically for its low THC content and high CBD content. A cross between a female MK Ultra and a famous G13 Haze male, it produces a relatively short-lived, mellow feeling that is also uplifting and powerfully relaxing, thanks to the high CBD content. In recent years, the strain has been refined even more to have even lower THC values approaching 0.2% to be legal in various EU countries, including the UK.

Full-Spectrum Oil and Flowers are a type of CBD product that contains the entire range of cannabinoids extracted from a single cannabis plant. It will have <0.2% THC. These products have had the least amount of genetic engineering or other methods to increase CBD content beyond the natural balance of the organic hemp plant.

Many organic growers claim a higher entourage effect when compared with the high CBD content strains.

Flowers are medium-sized and compact, with a particular braid shape with a dull green colour caused by the high quantity of resin. It releases a medium-intensity skunk smell that tends to be earthy and delightful to the eyes and nose. The products are dense, dark green buds with dark green and purple-tinged leaves. The buds have a familiar musky diesel smell with sweet undertones. It has a smooth flavour with slight hints of caramel and has Sativa effects.
