The High Entourage with high CBD content Purple Haze strain, is based on Purple OG Kush, which was is an Indica strain made by crossing OG Kush with Purple Kush. Purple OG Kush produces sedating effects and increases the CBD content whilst reducing the THC to the legal <0.2% THC; it requires the grower to cross the Purple OG Kush with Kompolti, a Hungarian industrial strain providing a lot of CBD - over 11% of Cannabidiol without losing much of the other valuable cannabinoids. The aroma of this strain is fruity, thick, and musty, with undertones of orange, blueberry, and pine. Medical marijuana patients choose Purple OG Kush to relieve symptoms associated with insomnia. The bud sizes are medium to large, and we have tried hard to cut the stem of the enormous buds. Our testers say it starts as a hybrid that feels like a 50/50 Sativa/Indica strain but gives it 30 minutes or so, and then the Indica kicks in strongly.

Purple Haze makes its appeal clear immediately, with medium to large-sized flowers that maintain a spade-like form, tapering down from a broad base to a pointed tip. True to their Indica heritage, these buds have a relatively tight structure, with their soft and fluffy-looking leaves spiralling loosely outward from their central stems. The leaves themselves are a patchwork of mossy green, red, and a hint of purple that helps us to retain the old strain's name. Finally, these flowers are coated with a slightly sticky trichome. The flowers give off a dank, musty scent. A second whiff reveals some orange, grape, and berry-tinged notes.
Meanwhile, grinding up or picking apart these flowers releases a herbal aroma familiar to fans of Haze. Purple Haze gives off a very smooth and easily ingested, and in countries where smoke is allowed when combusted in a pipe or a joint.
